As part of the City of Danbury’s “City of the Future” initiative, Mayor Mark Boughton is proud to announce that its award winning 311 system will increase its hours to 24 hours a day-7 days a week.

311 is a non-emergency call system that provides a streamlined method for citizens to gain information or report issues/concerns regarding City services.

Now residents can receive information or answers to their non-emergency questions at any time, day or night, 7 days a week by calling 311 or 203-744-4311 from a cell phone or landline. Calls regarding issues and concerns that are in need of additional City research or resources will enter an automated escalation process. Residents can then expect a call from City representatives with the status of resolution.

Mayor Boughton is very excited to offer this extended service to our residents as we continue our evolution towards the City of the Future!
