For many, Thanksgiving is a day to enjoy a holiday from work, visit with family and friends, watch parades and football on television, plan holiday shopping excursions and, of course, feast on a Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings.
The holiday is also a reminder to count our blessings and take inventory of all that we have. Let us remember that we have the good fortune of living in one of the best countries in the world, living in a state that one year after being hit by Super Storm Sandy is well on its way to full recovery.
