When it comes to scamming, people who are generally the most vulnerable are the ones who do not know much about the marketplace around them. This is why senior citizens and non-English speakers become targets of an attack.

Attacks range from phone scams demanding wire transfers in exchange of the safety of a loved one to get-rich-quick pyramid schemes promising thousands of dollar a month. These predatory practices go away for a while with government investigations and crackdowns but always manage to resurface due to lack of information given to consumers to avoid their proliferation.
