MAY 16 - PUSHING PAST AUTISM EVENT
A fundraising event to benefit children on the autism spectrum will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Feldman Arena of the O'Neill Center on the WestConn Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Ext. in Danbury. Participants will raise funds for the Autism Society of Connecticut and the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism by obtaining sponsors for doing push-ups. Check-in for the event will begin at 8 a.m., followed by a welcome announcement at 9:30 a.m. and push-ups from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will conclude at 3 p.m. with raffles, door prizes and announcements. MAY 22 - GRADUATE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
The WestConn Division of Graduate Studies will host a commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. in the Feldman Arena of the William O'Neill Athletic and Convocation Center on the University's Westside campus, Lake Avenue Ext. in Danbury. Graduate students who are eligible to receive their master's degrees in January, May or August of this year and their guests will be invited to the commencement ceremony, with a reception to follow. MAY 28 TO 30 - WCSU OFF-BROADWAY
The WestConn theatre arts department will present "Tongues" and "Savage Love" by Sam Shepard and Joseph Chaikin at 8 p.m. at the TBG Theatre, 312 West 36th Street in Manhattan.
