Naugatuck Chamber donates to non-profits and school groups

NAUGATUCK, CONN. - On June 22, 2009, the Naugatuck Chamber paid tribute to sponsors, volunteers, community groups, participating schools, non-profit organizations and numerous others who assisted and/or participated in the Chamber's fourth annual Naugatuck River Duck Day & Race on June 7th. Each of the more than 80 organizations that participated by selling duck race raffle tickets were recognized and checks were presented to their representatives at the dinner. A total of $ 35,200 was donated to causes and initiatives benefiting the residents of the Naugatuck and greater Waterbury area.
