Jewish Summer Fest
On Sunday, August 23, Congregation B'Nai Israel will host the 4th Annual Jewish SummerFest from 12:00 until 6:00 p.m.
The festival will feature amazing food including falafel, schwarma, bourekas, hot dogs, unbelievable chocolate chip cookies, as well as tantalizing island oasis drinks and Hebrew beer! And more… many vendors with beautiful Judaica items, such as jewelry, clothing and other products will be at the Fest.There is something for all ages - incredible entertainment, including live Klezmer, Israeli and Ladino music, Israeli folk dancing and much more! And for the little and young ones, get ready to take a deep breath and participate in an array of children's activities, including crafts, art, face painting and story-telling.
There's more… a raffle for an iPod touch, a Rebecca American Girl doll, and iTunes gift cards will also be available. Parking will be available at St. Ann's Church (181 Route 39) where participants can take a shuttle to the synagogue grounds at 193 Clapboard Ridge Road in Danbury, CT.
