DANBURY

The United Ways of Western Connecticut, Greater New Haven, and Coastal Fairfield County have joined forces for a regional Healthy Baby Diaper Drive, aiming to collect half a million diapers for families in need. Several thousand diapers have been donated already, by businesses throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties.

Beginning October 19, the general public in western Connecticut can donate diapers too, by dropping them off at Danbury Fair Mall's Center Court and at local branch offices of Fairfield County Bank and Savings Bank of Danbury.
