Past, Present, and Future Volunteer

Dear Editor,

In the 'Past', Families Network has had such wonderful and very committed volunteers to help with various jobs, events and groups. Thank you for your time, your devotion and your positive energy in helping Families Network. Your given support to all first time mothers has been greatly appreciated! Special regards to Dilsa and Anne.

In the 'Present', Families Network has six phone support volunteers that are dear and essential in our mission to help Greater Danbury Area first-time moms, with phone support or home visitation. These volunteers are key to our success in reaching out to first time parents. I extend my most sincere gratitude to these special ladies: Terry, Kara, Claudia, Marilia, Eleny, and Mercedes.

In the 'Future', Families Network is in great need of phone support volunteers - English, Spanish and Portuguese speaking. Training consists of total of seven (7) hours (spread out over different days). After the training, you will need to make phone support calls from our agency, approximately 1 - 2 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to help new moms. You will be invited to staff in service trainings, events and celebrations. You will be a guest to Families Network's Volunteer Yearly Luncheon.
