Immaculate High School Girls Varsity Soccer On Saturday, November 21, the Immaculate High School Girls Varsity Soccer team of Danbury traveled to New Willow Brook Park in New Britain, CT, to play an exciting soccer match against Old Lyme.

More than one thousand people came out to cheer for their teams.

Tanya Price scored for top-seeded and undefeated Old Lyme in the first half, and Claudia Khouri answered for the Mustangs in the second half. With just 11 minutes remaining in the second half, Khouri scored a spectacular goal from 30 yards, forcing the game into a tie.

Top seeded Old Lyme and Immaculate Danbury, the No. 3 seed, were declared co-champions of Class S (State Cup) after playing to a 1-1 tie.
