H1N1 Vaccine now available for all of Connecticut
Due to the efforts made by health care providers and local health departments,
the state now has more than 900,000 doses of the H1N1 vaccine. Governor Rell announced that it is now available to anyone 6 months or older who wishes to receive it. If you are interested in getting vaccinated, you should contact your health care provider or your local health department. The Department of Public Health is reporting a decline in H1N1 flu cases in the state, but does expect to see additional cases over the next several weeks. We should all take precautions, such as frequent hand washing and covering your cough or sneeze; this will help to limit the severity and spread of the virus.
