Science and Technology Workshop

NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center will present science and technology training for elementary and middle school teachers on February 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Westside Campus Center on the WestConn Westside campus, 43 Lake Avenue Extension in Danbury.

Varner will demonstrate activities that teachers can bring back to their classrooms to engage students in learning about the Hubble Space Telescope, which is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its launch.

This event will be free of charge and open to elementary and middle schoolteachers only. CEU credit is available; pre-registration is required to earn CEUs.
