Three years ago, we redesigned our newspaper to enhance the readability of our tri-lingual
layout. At the same time, we began to expand and improve our website, TribunaCT.com.
In 2010, through a partnership with TinBu, we will be offering daily content, online tools and features that are functional, entertaining and informational.
Readers will be able to access hundreds of breaking news stories uploaded every day from more than 20 news categories — including World News, Sports, Entertainment, People, Business, Travel, Kids, and more. View images in selected stories that can be expanded. Use the handy search feature for looking up previous stories. Top headlines will dynamically animate and rotate throughout the day. And our News Alert System will allow site visitors to personalize their news by signing up for daily headlines of their choice.
Keep an eye on the weather, with coverage searchable by city name or postal code, available in Celsius or Fahrenheit on demand, 48-hour forecasts broken down by hour, daily commute forecast for morning and evening drive times with moving maps, including
Doppler radar, satellite images, temperature, wind, and precipitation. Global highs and lows for temperature, wind, and precipitation updated hourly. Customizable weather locations stored for each site visitor (up to 20 locations).
Our new soccer page will provide coverage of 400-plus leagues and 50- plus International Cups from around the world, including Brazil (Campeonato Carioca, Mineiro and Paulista) Italy, Mexico and Portugal. Enjoy live in-game scoring reports, as well as game schedules for all leagues, fully customizable by each site visitor.
SPORTS will cover NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, AHL, NASCAR, WNBA, PGA, MLS, CFL, AFL, PGA as well as NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball and NCAA Football. Full league schedules will be available for every team and like Soccer, the page can be customized to specific settings by each individual site visitor.
