Bacelar and Genilson Palmares Their journey began back on August 10, 2008. Phone calls and dinner dates didn’t do the trick as quickly as he expected; however, after his impressive persistence and dedication, he finally won her heart and with that, her family’s as well.

This love story deserves more than a mere paragraph, because I am bursting to share with you all the details of the “love voyage” that they have passionately been sharing with those who love them as well. I’m afraid one page simply won’t be enough. But just to give you a glimpse, THE proposal, took place during a family road trip to Toronto, Canada the day after Thanksgiving. The CN Tower, the world’s tallest building and freestanding structure with a perfect view of the Toronto skyline, was the backdrop to one of the happiest days of their lives.

To mark the occasion and share the happiness of this young couple, on March 5, Emanuela’s parents, Celia and Genilson, hosted a wonderful engagement party, inviting friends and family members for an exciting evening at the Candlewood Inn in Danbury.

Congratulations guys! May God bless your lives and keep you close to Him and to one another, and deepen your spirit of prayer and love!
