Gopio-Connecticut hosts meet and greet with U.S. Congressman Himes
     On June 7, the Connecticut chapter of the Global Organization of People of Indian Origin Connecticut hosted a “meet and greet” reception for Congressman Jim Himes, D-Conn., at the Hampton Inn in Stamford, CT, as part of its mission to create an ongoing dialog between members of the Indian community and elected officials.

Recognizing outstanding achievement: Top 20 in the graduating Class of 2010 at Danbury High School
     On June 16, Mr. Irving Fox, the Chairmen of Board of Education for the City of Danbury, awarded Danbury Public School Certificates to four students in recognition of being one of the top 20 in the graduating Class of 2010 at Danbury High School.
