Midtown Coffeehouse spring 2012
     Western Connecticut State University’s Midtown Coffeehouse is back and has talent lined up for the spring 2012 semester. Every Thursday night, the Coffeehouse will showcase open mic performers starting at 8 p.m., followed by a featured guest artist at 9 p.m. The Coffeehouse is located in Alumni Hall on the WCSU Midtown campus at 181 White Street in Danbury.

Retrospective Exhibition
     A retrospective exhibition of artworks by Robert Alberetti will be displayed from February 3 thru 23 in the Higgins Gallery in Higgins Hall on the University’s Midtown campus located at 181 White Street in Danbury. Albe- retti began his teaching career at WCSU in 1963 and retired in 2003. A reception will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 23.

Bill Burr show
     Selling out theaters internationally, Burr performed a sold-out show at Carnegie Hall on November 11 and in October, he made his second tour of Europe, receiving standing ovations at theaters in London, Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki and Stockholm.
