Regarded as The Greatest 1960’s Musical Tribute Show in the World, the show features former members of Billy Joel’s and Elton John’s band, The Boston Pops, and current members of The Smithereens. The members of The Sixties Show have toured and played with legendary acts such as Paul McCartney, The Beach Boys, Brian Wilson, Mick Jagger, The Bee Gees, Blondie, Bruce Springsteen, Pete Townshend (The Who), Carley Simon and others. Individually, they have performed at the most prestigious live concert venues in the world such as Wembley Stadium, Yankee Stadium, The Staples Center, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, The Hollywood Bowl, The Troubadour, The Grand ‘Ole Opry and others.
Everything is played live with authentic instruments and amplification of the era. A modern-day state of the art sound system also helps deliver this truly magical musical experience. Behind the band is a large video screen projecting classic and nostalgic archival and newsreel footage from the 1960s.
