The Value of the Vote in a Democracy

Democracy was defined by Winston Churchill as the worst of all political regimes, with the exception of all the others. Democracy, indeed, is not the miracle resolution for all the social and economic problems that people face while walking the path toward prosperity. But it is democracy, in the long term and not exempted from conflict of opinions, that allows us to find solutions to the main problems people face by utilizing a political representation system, in a rational and peaceful manner.
