The World Heritage Cultural Center will soon be opening its doors in downtown Danbury. In the meantime, they are already organizing events in the Hat City.
On Saturday, November 15, the Center has engaged two yoga instructors, Molly Bryn and Lynn Priest, to lead a series of yoga hours on Citycenter Danbury Green from 8am-9am, 11am-12noonpm, and 2pm – 3pm. As part of the event, there will also be booths providing information on health, fitness and nutrition. All are welcome, and it’s free. In case of rain, the event will take place at the St. James Church auditorium at 25 West Street.
The World Heritage Cultural Center’s mission is to have a positive impact through knowledge and charity by creating a common ground where any culture in the world can celebrate its way of life through the arts and food. WHCC services are provided for all ages, including special programming for senior citizens and those with special needs. It will offer classes and workshops, onsite and offsite, in dance, music, acting, creative writing and media arts.
