The Department of Art at Western Connecticut State University will open the fall semester with an exhibit highlighting the department’s teaching faculty. The exhibition will feature the works of 24 full- and part-time art faculty members in a wide variety of media, including photography, sculpture, drawing, painting and assemblage. The exhibition will open on Monday, Aug. 24, and it will run through Sunday, Sept. 13, in the Art Gallery at the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the university’s Westside campus, 43 Lake Avenue Extension in Danbury.
