Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield County Appoints Former United Way CEO Kim Morgan as New President

The Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield County is excited to announce the appointment of Kim Morgan as the new president.
The Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield County is excited to announce the appointment of Kim Morgan as the new president, effective June 1, 2025. Kim brings over 30 years of experience in nonprofit management, strategic innovation, and community impact, making her well-equipped to lead the organization into its next phase of growth and influence.
Kim is the principal of LifeVest Strategies. She provides temporary executive leadership and consulting to nonprofit and social impact organizations. Previously, she was the CEO of United Way of Western Connecticut. There, she developed Prosperi-Key®, a digital platform that helps working families find resources with dignity and choice.
Kim has supported programs for youth development, early education, financial empowerment, and food security. She has created initiatives that have raised millions to help underserved families in Connecticut.
Kim takes over for Bernadine Venditto, who led Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield County for over 20 years, leaving a strong legacy. The Board of Directors collaborated with DH Search of Boston to conduct an extensive search, and Kim was selected as the top candidate among many strong applicants.

Kim holds a master’s degree in management communications and an undergraduate degree in psychology. She serves on the boards of Danbury and New Milford Hospitals and the Western CT Coalition. Kim and her husband, long-time foster and adoptive parents, reside in New Fairfield, CT.
The Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield County (JAGFC) is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed through programs that focus on financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship. During the 2023–2024 school year, JAGFC reached 13,694 students from 54 schools and organizations, delivering 65,985 hours of learning across our service area. These experiences, led by corporate and community volunteers, equip young people with essential business and life skills to succeed in their careers and manage their finances.
